House Bill 153 to remove energy drinks from SNAP.

Here is the USDA’s list of what is eligible to be purchased under the SNAP program. ¬†https://www.fns.usda.gov/snap/eligible-food-items

One might note that the SNAP program is administered under the Department of Agriculture because it has two reasons for existing, helping people to eat better and improving the market for agricultural products.  Energy drinks do include sugar which is likely produced from corn or sugar beets.
